On Sunday, March 22, Jana Van Gytenbeek, a former basketball standout at Cherry Creek High School, saw her collegiate team, the Baylor Lady Bears, fall 69-46 to the Duke Blue Devils during the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup was played at Cameron Indoor Stadium at 4 p.m.
Van Gytenbeek recorded three points and one steal across 34 minutes on the court.
This former West Arapahoe County area high school standout will be competing on Tuesday, April 14.
