Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has been recognized as the FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week after his recent performance against the Green Bay Packers. Nix recorded 302 passing yards, four touchdowns, and achieved a 134.7 passer rating in the Broncos’ 34-26 win. He did not commit any turnovers or take any sacks during the game.
This marks the third time Nix has received this award in his career. Last season, he was honored twice following victories over the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. Only Peyton Manning has won this award more times among Broncos quarterbacks.
In Sunday’s game, Nix distributed touchdown passes to four different receivers. He also completed eight out of twelve passes that traveled at least ten air yards, totaling 168 yards and two touchdowns with a 149.3 passer rating on those attempts.
Nix’s victory brings him into a tie with Andrew Luck, Dak Prescott, and Ben Roethlisberger for the second-most wins by a quarterback in their first two seasons.
