Quarterback Bo Nix has been nominated for the Week 15 FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week award after his performance against the Green Bay Packers. Nix tied his career high with four touchdown passes and completed his third 300-yard game of the season, finishing with a 134.8 passer rating as the Denver Broncos defeated the Packers 34-26.
Nix made several key plays during the game, including a crucial fourth-and-2 pass to Courtland Sutton late in the contest. He was not sacked and did not commit any turnovers while facing Green Bay’s defense, which ranks sixth in scoring in the NFL.
With this win, Nix matched Andrew Luck, Dak Prescott, and Ben Roethlisberger for having the second-most victories by a quarterback within their first two seasons. He is also now tied for third place in games with at least four passing touchdowns among players in their first two years—behind only Dan Marino and Patrick Mahomes. Within Broncos history, only Peyton Manning and John Elway have more games with four or more passing touchdowns over their careers.
Other nominees for this week’s FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week include Jacksonville’s Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne, San Francisco’s Brock Purdy, Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua, and Atlanta’s Kyle Pitts.
Nix’s nomination highlights his early success as a young quarterback in both league-wide and franchise contexts.
