Bo Nix led the Denver Broncos to a 34-26 victory over the Green Bay Packers, throwing four touchdown passes in a standout performance that brought the team closer to clinching a playoff spot.

The game’s pivotal moment came late in the fourth quarter, when Nix completed a 26-yard pass to Courtland Sutton on fourth-and-3. This play set up an RJ Harvey rushing touchdown that extended Denver’s lead. Sutton said after the win, “He was having him a day out there.”

Nix finished with 302 passing yards and became one of only three quarterbacks in NFL history—alongside Patrick Mahomes and Dan Marino—to record at least four games with four or more passing touchdowns within their first two seasons. Among Broncos quarterbacks, only Peyton Manning and John Elway have accomplished this feat more times.

Tackle Mike McGlinchey praised Nix’s poise under pressure: “It was one of those days, and he delivered hugely for us today,” McGlinchey said. “Bo, he’s a gamer, man. He rises to every occasion. He doesn’t back down from a challenge and plays his best in the biggest moments. That’s the guy you want leading the football team.”

Nix distributed his touchdown passes among four different receivers and led three consecutive second-half touchdown drives. Notably, he made key plays on the move—including connecting with Lil’Jordan Humphrey while escaping pressure and setting up Troy Franklin for an 18-yard gain.

Tight end Adam Trautman highlighted Nix’s impact: “This is probably one of the best games of his career,” Trautman said. “… He was unbelievable tonight.”

Both starting quarterbacks had strong first halves, but Nix pulled ahead after halftime by completing eight of 13 passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns in the third quarter alone. He avoided turnovers or sacks against Green Bay’s highly ranked defense.

Afterward, Nix credited his teammates: “The guys around me do the same,” he said when asked about performing well in crucial situations.

Reflecting on Nix’s performance, McGlinchey added: “I don’t think anybody was stopping No. 10 today.”
