The Denver Broncos have designated center Luke Wattenberg for return to practice after his stint on injured reserve, the team announced Wednesday.
Wattenberg, a fourth-year player, is now eligible to be activated to the team’s 53-man roster at any time. He has started 28 games for the Broncos over the past two seasons and was a starter in the first 15 games of the 2025 season before being placed on injured reserve following Week 16 due to a shoulder injury. Before his injury, Wattenberg played every offensive snap in those 15 games.
With this move, Denver has now designated nine players out of a possible ten for return from injured reserve. Other players currently within their practice windows include linebacker Drew Sanders, tight end Lucas Krull, and running back J.K. Dobbins.
