After a notable season at Empower Field at Mile High, the Denver Broncos have been ranked first in the NFL for overall game-day experience. The ranking comes from the NFL’s Voice of the Fan survey and marks the first time in franchise history that the team has received this distinction.
During the regular season and postseason, Denver matched a franchise record with 10 home wins. The strong performance on the field was reflected by high energy from fans in attendance. “We really re-established a strong home-field advantage this year, and our fans were just incredible,” said Owner & CEO Greg Penner on Wednesday.
Wide receiver Courtland Sutton added during the postseason, “The way that the fans have been showing up, Broncos Country has been bumping.”
In addition to topping overall game-day experience, Denver also led the league in game entertainment. Their Let’s Glow Back and Super Bowl 50 reunion halftime shows were recognized as second and fourth best among all NFL halftime performances. This was also the first time Denver finished in the top five for game entertainment.
The team placed second across several categories: crowd energy, pregame on-field entertainment, and season-ticket member satisfaction. Average noise levels at Empower Field increased by three percent compared to 2024, as fans responded to calls from Head Coach Sean Payton and players to make their presence felt during games.
“Our crowd has been one of the best in the world right now,” said tackle Mike McGlinchey in December. ” … The volume that we’re operating with … is just absolutely out of control.”
Other top-five finishes included stadium technology (third), game-day staff (third), and food and beverage (fifth). To enhance fan experience, six new restaurants were introduced along with 50 new menu items and an expanded Mile High Favs menu.
Attendance figures also saw improvement. The Broncos posted their highest average regular-season attendance in a decade—a nine percent increase since 2023—and reduced their no-show count by 55 percent since 2024, resulting in one of the lowest totals in the league.
“It was electric,” tackle Garett Bolles commented after a Divisional Round win. “Our fans are great. Broncos Country showed up big time.”
