The Denver Broncos’ operations team was named the 2025 AFC Travel Director of the Year at the National Football League’s team travel meetings in March, according to an announcement on Apr. 6.
The recognition comes after what has been described as the team’s best season in a decade, highlighting the crucial role that support staff play in ensuring successful performance both on and off the field.
Led by Senior Vice President of Operations Chip Conway, Denver’s staff managed logistics for eight regular-season road games during 2025. Their planning included a complex stretch where the Broncos traveled from Philadelphia—where they defeated an undefeated Eagles squad—to London for a matchup against the Jets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The team then returned to prepare immediately for a Week 7 game against the Giants. During this period, Denver secured three victories, going undefeated on their extended road trip.
The Broncos finished with a 6-2 record away from home, marking their best road performance since 2015. In addition to Conway, Director of Team Logistics Adam Newman, Director of Operations and Experience Josh Bruning, Facilities Services Manager Jake TenBraak, and Events and Personnel Coordinator Sierra Reed were recognized for their contributions this season.
The annual honor is determined by votes from hotels and other travel partners across the league. The Broncos have now received this award twice since its creation in 2010 and were also nominated for their efforts in 2024.
