Wide receivers Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant took part in practice on Wednesday as the Denver Broncos began their preparations for the upcoming AFC Championship Game. Franklin is recovering from a hamstring injury, while Bryant suffered a concussion during the previous game.
Pat Bryant had three receptions for 32 yards on just three snaps before being sidelined by his injury in the Divisional Round matchup. Troy Franklin played 13 snaps against the Buffalo Bills.
Both players were listed as limited participants in Wednesday’s practice. Running back J.K. Dobbins, who has a foot injury and remains on injured reserve despite being designated to return, and center Alex Forsyth, dealing with an ankle issue, were also limited.
Several other Broncos—center Luke Wattenberg (shoulder), tackle Frank Crum (ankle), safety JL Skinner (quad), tight end Lucas Krull (foot), and linebacker Drew Sanders (ankle)—were full participants at practice. Wattenberg, Krull, and Sanders have been cleared to return to team activities.
Quarterback Bo Nix did not participate due to an ankle injury. The team previously announced that Nix would not be available for the remainder of the 2025 postseason.
The Broncos are scheduled to release another practice report on Thursday and will provide official game statuses for players on Friday.
Denver is set to host the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday at 1 p.m. Mountain Time on CBS.
