The Denver Broncos have promoted two players from their practice squad ahead of Saturday’s Divisional Round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. Wide receiver Elijah Moore and tight end Caleb Lohner will join the active roster for the upcoming matchup, according to an announcement made by the team on Friday.
Moore brings experience to the roster, having started 42 games and appeared in 70 throughout his NFL career. The receiver, originally a second-round draft pick in 2021, has accumulated 209 receptions for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns. Earlier this season, he played in nine games for the Bills before signing with Denver’s practice squad in December.
Lohner was selected in the seventh round of the 2025 draft and has been with the Broncos’ practice squad for the current season. He transitioned from collegiate basketball to football in 2024 and made four catches — all resulting in touchdowns — during his single college football season.
The Broncos are scheduled to play against the Bills on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time on CBS.
