The Denver Broncos announced on Mar. 12 that they have re-signed fullback Adam Prentice to a one-year contract.
The move keeps another offensive player on the roster as the team prepares for the upcoming season. Prentice joined the Broncos in August before the 2025 season after spending his first four years with the New Orleans Saints.
Last season, Prentice played in all 19 games for Denver, participating in 19 percent of the team’s offensive snaps and 45 percent of special teams snaps during the regular season. He contributed as a blocker and managed to gain 10 first downs on just 16 touches throughout the year. On special teams, he recorded 11 tackles, according to Pro Football Reference.
The Broncos have also recently re-signed several other players, including running back J.K. Dobbins, inside linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad, tight ends Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull, wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey, offensive lineman Alex Palczewski and quarterback Sam Ehlinger.
Prentice’s return adds depth and experience to both the offense and special teams units as Denver continues its preparations for next season.
