The Denver Broncos announced on Mar. 9 that they have re-signed tight end Adam Trautman to a three-year contract.
Trautman’s return secures a veteran presence for the Broncos’ offense as the team looks to maintain stability and experience in its lineup. The move follows recent efforts by the organization to retain key players ahead of the upcoming season.
According to the team, Trautman has played in all 54 possible games over the past three seasons, starting in 40 contests during his time with Denver. He has contributed both as a receiver and blocker, catching 55 passes for 587 yards and six touchdowns in regular-season play. In each of his three years with the Broncos, he has participated in at least half of the team’s offensive snaps, including playing 57 percent of snaps during the 2025 season.
Trautman joined Denver through a trade during the 2023 NFL Draft after spending his first three professional seasons with the New Orleans Saints. His consistent availability and versatility have made him an important part of Denver’s offensive scheme.
He is now the second player to officially re-sign with Denver in recent days, following offensive lineman Alex Palczewski.
