The Denver Broncos announced on Mar. 10 that they have re-signed tight end Nate Adkins to a one-year contract.
Adkins has been a consistent presence for the Broncos, playing in 36 games and starting 17 since joining the team as a college free agent after the 2023 NFL Draft. He has recorded 24 receptions for 185 yards and four touchdowns during his time with Denver.
In addition to his contributions as a receiver, Adkins has played an important role in the run game, participating in at least 30 percent of offensive snaps in games over the past two seasons. He also contributed significantly on special teams, playing a career-high 59 percent of special teams snaps in 2024.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 252 pounds, Adkins continues to add depth to the Broncos’ roster. The team also recently re-signed tight end Adam Trautman ahead of the new league year, along with offensive lineman Alex Palczewski and inside linebacker Alex Singleton.
The move signals Denver’s intention to maintain continuity among its key contributors as preparations begin for the upcoming season.
