Wide receiver Pat Bryant is expected to be available for the Denver Broncos in the upcoming AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots, as he was not assigned a game status after being a full participant in practice for two consecutive days. Bryant had previously suffered a concussion and caught three passes for 32 yards in his last appearance.
Four Broncos players have been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup: tight end Lucas Krull (foot), linebacker Drew Sanders (ankle), running back J.K. Dobbins (foot), and quarterback Bo Nix (ankle). All four remain on injured reserve. Krull and Sanders were able to fully participate in practice this week, while Dobbins participated on a limited basis. Bo Nix did not practice this week and had already been ruled out for the rest of the postseason.
Center Luke Wattenberg, who was recently designated to return from injured reserve, participated fully in practices throughout the week and is listed as questionable. He would need to be activated from IR to play on Sunday. Center Alex Forsyth (ankle) and wide receiver Troy Franklin (hamstring) are also questionable after being limited participants in all practices this week. Safety JL Skinner (quad) is listed as questionable after being limited on Friday following full participation earlier in the week.
Tackle Frank Crum practiced fully all week and was not given a game status, indicating he will be available.
The AFC Championship Game between the Broncos and Patriots will take place Sunday, January 25 at 1 p.m. MT on CBS.
