Tight end Nate Adkins is expected to return for the Denver Broncos in their upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers after participating fully in practice and not being assigned a game status. This marks his first availability since he sustained a knee injury during Week 8.
Defensive tackle D.J. Jones, who has also been practicing fully, was not given a game status and is set to play after missing last week’s victory over the Raiders due to an ankle injury.
Guard Ben Powers remains sidelined with a biceps injury. Although designated for return from injured reserve earlier this week, he was ruled out for Sunday’s matchup. “He’s getting there,” said Head Coach Sean Payton regarding Powers’ recovery.
Wide receiver Pat Bryant will also miss the game as he did not participate in practice all week because of a hamstring issue. Payton commented on Bryant’s absence: “If this was a playoff game … he’d be able to go,” adding, “And yet, in order to get him back to full strength, we feel like we’ve done the right thing this week.”
Tackle Mike McGlinchey is listed as questionable after being added to the injury report with a shoulder problem and missing Friday’s practice.
The Broncos are scheduled to play against the Packers on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
