After finishing the regular season as the top seed in the AFC, the Denver Broncos have matched a franchise record with four players named to the Associated Press first-team All-Pro list. The announcement was made Saturday by the Associated Press.

Right guard Quinn Meinerz, left tackle Garett Bolles, interior defensive lineman Zach Allen, and special teamer Devon Key were all selected for first-team honors. Cornerback Pat Surtain II and safety Talanoa Hufanga received second-team All-Pro recognition.

The four first-team selections equal previous franchise highs set in 1977 and 1996. With six total players honored as All-Pros this year, the Broncos also tied for their second-most in team history, behind only the seven selections from 1977.

Meinerz is notable for being the first offensive lineman in Broncos history to earn consecutive first-team All-Pro selections. He joins former outside linebacker Von Miller as recent back-to-back honorees and becomes one of only three offensive linemen in franchise history with multiple first-team selections. According to NextGen Stats, Meinerz allowed the second-lowest pressure rate among right guards this season.

Bolles earned his first career selection to the AP first team after previously being named a second-team All-Pro in 2020. He allowed the lowest pressure rate among all NFL left tackles while playing nearly every snap on offense this season and faced one of the highest numbers of one-on-one matchups among linemen. Bolles is now just the third tackle in team history to make first-team All-Pro and was also chosen for his first Pro Bowl last month.

For the first time ever, two Broncos offensive linemen were named All-Pros in a single season.

Allen moved up from second-team honors last year to his debut on the AP’s top squad. Leading the league in quarterback hits over each of the past two seasons, Allen also made his first Pro Bowl appearance this year. He is Denver’s first interior defensive lineman since Trevor Pryce (1999) to be named an AP first-team All-Pro and has posted at least seven sacks for two straight years.

Key set a new single-season franchise record with 26 special teams tackles and became Denver’s inaugural selection at special teamer since that category was added to AP voting in 2016. Previously, punter Mike Horan (1988) was Denver’s last primarily special teams player named to an AP All-Pro team. Key led all NFL players in both solo and assisted special teams tackles this year and forced a fumble.

Surtain earned his third career All-Pro nod despite missing three games this season. He previously made first-team lists in 2022 and 2024. According to NextGen Stats, Surtain had one of football’s highest tight-window throw rates (41.3 percent) and saw few targets on deep passes (3.6 percent). NFL statistics show he gave up only three receptions for 53 yards on downfield targets while defending six passes—resulting in a league-low completion rate against him on such throws.

Hufanga collected his first career All-Pro honor as a Bronco after joining from San Francisco, where he was previously recognized as a first-teamer in 2022. This season he recorded personal bests across several categories including passes defensed (11), total tackles (106), solo tackles (67), tackles for loss (six), sacks (2), and quarterback hits (3). Hufanga is Denver’s latest safety since Justin Simmons last year to receive an All-Pro distinction.
