Linebacker Dre Greenlaw returned to practice for the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, participating in a limited capacity as the team began preparations for their Divisional Round playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. Greenlaw had been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury during Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and missed both Week 17 and Week 18, games which Denver won.
In his eight appearances this season, Greenlaw has recorded 43 tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, one sack, two passes defensed, a forced fumble, and an interception.
Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers was a full participant in Tuesday’s session after missing last week’s game due to a hip issue. Tight end Lucas Krull (foot) and linebacker Drew Sanders (ankle) were also listed as limited participants. Both Krull and Sanders would need to be added to Denver’s active roster to be eligible for Saturday’s matchup.
The Broncos plan to release another practice report on Wednesday and will announce official game statuses on Thursday. The Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills is scheduled for Saturday, January 17 at 2:30 p.m. Mountain Time on CBS.
