The Denver Broncos’ rookie punter, Jeremy Crawshaw, has been recognized by the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) for his performance during his first season in the NFL. The PFWA announced on Tuesday that Crawshaw was named to its 2025 All-Rookie team.
Crawshaw led all rookie punters in average yards per punt this season. He averaged 47.6 yards per punt, which placed him 15th among all NFL punters in his debut year. Additionally, he tied for third place in the league for most punts downed inside the 20-yard line during the regular season.
During Saturday’s Divisional Round playoff game, Crawshaw made a significant impact with a 55-yard coffin-corner punt in overtime that pinned the Buffalo Bills at their own 7-yard line before an important defensive series for Denver. Head Coach Sean Payton commented on the play, stating, “[It was] probably his punt of the year.”
The PFWA also recognized other Broncos players earlier this week. Quinn Meinerz, Garett Bolles, Nik Bonitto and Devon Key were selected to the All-NFL team by the organization. Those four players and Pat Surtain II were also chosen for the All-AFC squad.
