In the week ending Jan. 10, two gas stations in Arapahoe County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $2.38 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Premium gas prices averaged $2.99 per gallon in Arapahoe County.
Arapahoe County had 121 of 191 reported gas stations offering premium gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in Colorado was $3.05, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration expects global oil stockpiles to keep growing into 2026, a trend that could weigh on crude prices in the near term.
