Wide receiver Pat Bryant has been nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Week award after his standout performance in the Denver Broncos’ 22-19 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Bryant, a third-round draft pick, recorded five receptions for 82 yards, marking his most productive game to date. He led all Broncos receivers in catches and averaged 16.4 yards per reception. One of his key contributions was a 48-yard catch that set up a field goal early in the fourth quarter. Four of Bryant’s five receptions resulted in first downs.
If selected, Bryant would become the first Denver wide receiver since Eddie Royal in 2008 to win Rookie of the Week honors. Running back RJ Harvey previously earned this recognition earlier in the season.
Other nominees for Week 11 include Tetairoa McMillan from Carolina, Bhayshul Tuten from Jacksonville, TreVeyon Henderson from New England, Cody Simon from Arizona, and Carson Schwesinger from Cleveland.
