Ace Hardware Cherry Hills Marketplace to give away American flags

Ace Hardware Cherry Hills Marketplace will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Colorado lost 220 soldiers in the Korean war and 376 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 5910 S University, Greenwood Village will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Pat Hannon Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware Cherry Hills Marketplace while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace Hardware Cherry Hills Marketplace is located at 5910 S University, Greenwood Village, Colorado. This location is owned by Ann Cummiskey and represented by Barney Onken.
