What happened to the median home price in Englewood during the first half of 2022?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Englewood rose by $80,000 while total sales decreased by 36.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 225 homes sold, with a median sale price of $565,000 - a 16.5 percent increase over the $485,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 356 homes sold in Englewood in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Englewood for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,684, approximately 0.3 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
