How did home prices perform in Denver during the first half of 2022?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Denver rose by $81,300 while total sales decreased by 37.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $407,100 - a 25 percent increase over the $325,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Denver in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Denver for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,816, approximately 0.4 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
