The American Hockey Coaches Association recognized seven members of the Colorado College hockey team for academic excellence in 2021-22.
The AHCA's sixth-annual Krampade All-American Scholars list includes Nicklas Andrews, Jordan Biro, Hugo Blixt, Tyler Coffey, Marc Pasemko, Nate Schweitzer and Logan Will.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
Colorado College put the second-most players on the list among NCHC teams, trailing Omaha, which had 10.
The award is sponsored by Krampade, LLC, a Lincoln, Neb.-based company focused on mitigating and preventing cramp formation, while enhancing performance using its patent-pending formulations.
